Southern France in the summer of 2008. A family of three is traveling in a camper van: Pastor Clemens Birnenlohn, 58, from the Bernese Seeland, his wife Gerlinde, 56, and their son Lukas, 18. On a whim, Gerlinde decides to go to Lourdes. The two men are stunned, but go along with her plan. Gerlinde spends her time in the mobile home writing and dies of heart failure a few days later. Just what she wanted in Lourdes remains as much a mystery as the end of her first career as an actress. Lukas begins to investigate and unearths some incredible facts.
