Author’s book “I Love Shopping” went viral in late 2019 for a poem called “Here’s my kinky roleplay.” Author used to screenprint the design on T-shirts, bags, and make stickers of his poems. The book was originally published by a now-defunct publisher called glo-worm press and Lauren began self-publishing it in 2022 to keep up with demand. Author has gained a loyal cult following via social media. He was Tumblr famous in 2012, had an Instagram account and a small following on Vine and Tiktok. Author’s book I Love Shopping was featured in Interview Magazine’s article “Summer Books, Meet Summer Looks” in June 2019 and has been sold in fashion boutiques. Author loves fashion and used to manage a fashion boutique that sold contemporary designer clothes like Comme des Garcons, etc. in Hudson, New York, called Kasuri. Author taught a popular intro to plant biology zoom class during the pandemic in Spring of 2020.
