Abandoned by their allies in the middle of winter in enemy territory, a call for help reaches the Greek Expeditionary Corps from the Chersonnesos peninsula. Constantly threatened by treachery in their own ranks, attacks by enemy tribes and the danger of ambush by the Persians, the Greeks and their motley crew of soldiers must rush back west to come to the aid of the inhabitants.
