You expect your children to marry, but for Sarah there was something different about her youngest son and his marriage. She recognized that for her it was a sign that she was getting older and her life was passing by. It wasn't the marriage, but the milestone that worried her. William married Jo Anna Parazade "Josie" Reynolds on January 25th. She was the daughter of William and Mary Reynolds of Seminole in Chattooga County, Georgia. They moved into a new house built on the farm. Josie was small in stature, but large in heart and character, Sarah could tell that. She wore her long light brown hair pulled back and up, but not tight, had a face of kindness and a ready smile. She would make a wonderful wife for William.
